This textured organic carved ring consists of different sized bright blue faceted Moissanite gemstones encased in sterling silver.
It is a combination of hand carving and texturing of the wax before it is cast in sterling silver. The ring is cast in place using the lost wax process, where the wax carving is replaced by molten silver capturing the stones in place.
This design is unique as each piece is different depending upon the hand carving of the wax, the different stones used, and the outcome of the process.
The Moissanite gemstones are used for their brilliance in colour and their ability to withstand the heat of the molten silver use in the cast in place process.
